We are seeking a Board-Eligible (BE) Interventional Radiologist for a short-term locum opportunity to cover a few specific dates.
- Specialty: Interventional Radiology
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: December 14, 2025
- Coverage Type: Call + Clinic
- Schedule: We need coverage for two specific dates:
- October 12
- December 14
- Shift Details: The on-site shift is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with on-call hours from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Volumes based on last month:
- CT guided biopsies (deep, lung, abdomen, pelvis)
- CT guided drains (deep retroperitoneal, peritoneal, chest)
- Us guided drainage (para, thora, superficial)
- US guided biopsies (soft tissue, FNA and core)
- Venous access (port, temp, tunneled central lines)
- Venous thrombectomy (PE and DVT)
- Chole tubes, internal/external biliary drainage
- Lumbar punctures, epidural steroid injections
- Enteric tubes (exchanges, G tube, GJ tube placement)
- IVC filter placement and retrieval
- Nephrostomy tube (placement and exchange)
- Arterial embolization
- Usually there will be a fulltime IR around to help out. Over the weekend the most frequent cases are:
- CT/US drainage
- PE thrombectomy
- Arterial embolization
- Shift Details: The on-site shift is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with on-call hours from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Minimum Board Certification: Board-Eligible (BE)
