Job description JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Interventional Radiologist
• Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
• Location: Mountain Home, AR
• Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Critical Access Hospital, Imaging Center, and Outpatient Clinics
• Coverage Type: On-site Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Regular weekday schedule

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Mixed patient population
• Patient Volume/Census: Over 112,000 imaging studies read in 2024
• Case Mix: Interventional procedures and diagnostic studies (CT, MRI, US, Mammo, X-Ray, PET)

FACILITY INFORMATION
• Coverage Area:
- One acute care hospital
- One critical access hospital
- One imaging center
- Several outpatient clinics
• Equipment Available: Full imaging suite including CT, MRI, US, Mammo, X-Ray, PET
• Cath Labs: Two active labs with a third under development
• Specialty Backup: Available
• Support Staff Available: Technologists and clinical support

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: TBD

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Diagnostic interpretation of imaging studies
• Interventional radiology procedures (detailed procedures TBD with facility)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
• Experience: Prior experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology preferred
• Other Qualifications:
- Strong procedural skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple care settings
- Excellent communication and time management skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform and interpret interventional and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Provide radiologic expertise at acute care, critical access, and outpatient settings
• Support expanding interventional program with new cath lab development
• Collaborate with referring providers to ensure timely and effective patient care
