  • Other Details: This is bread-and-butter IR work with a Reasonable patient load. It is part-time to full-time work (1-4 weeks per month), including overnight and weekend calls. The schedule is flexible.
  • Rate: $500 - $525 per hour, with an 8-hour daily guaranteed payment.

Job Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures in a community hospital setting.
Evaluate patients, interpret imaging studies, and develop treatment plans.
Provide peri-procedural care, including consultations and follow-up management.
Participate in overnight and weekend call coverage as scheduled.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in Epic EMR.
Collaborate with hospital staff, referring physicians, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

MD/DO with an active Wisconsin medical license or eligibility via IMLC (licensure support available).
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Interventional Radiology (required if within 5 years of training).
Proven clinical experience in general/bread-and-butter interventional radiology procedures.
Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary environment.

Working Hours

Part-time to full-time opportunities available (1–4 weeks per month).
Includes overnight and weekend call coverage.
Flexible scheduling based on provider availability and site needs.
Daily 8-hour guarantee

Skills

Proficiency in performing standard IR procedures (biopsies, drain placements, vascular access, etc.).
Strong diagnostic and procedural decision-making skills.
Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient cases effectively.
Competent with Epic EMR and electronic medical documentation.
Adaptability to a flexible work schedule and varying patient caseloads.
