Job description

Job description We are seeking a Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist to provide pediatric interventional radiology coverage at its Main Campus in Dayton, Ohio. This is a high-priority, short-term opportunity with both weekday and weekend call responsibilities. The ideal candidate is board-certified, fellowship-trained in interventional radiology, and experienced in pediatric angiography and embolization procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive interventional radiology services for pediatric patients
Perform procedures including angiography and embolization (average 5–6/day)
Participate in a rotating call schedule including night and weekend coverage
Collaborate with the Dayton Physicians Imaging (DPI) and RPI teams
Accurately document procedures and patient care using EPIC and Sentrax EMRs
Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
Maintain timely communication with the facility and medical team
Provide coverage per outlined schedule and specific assignment dates

Qualifications

Board Certified in Radiology – Required
Fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology – Required
Active Ohio Medical License – Required
Clean background with no malpractice history – Required
Must provide case logs demonstrating recent experience in angiography and embolization
Pediatric IR experience required

Working Hours

Weekday Shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
24-Hour Weekend Call

Skills

Proficiency in pediatric interventional procedures
