Position Type: Locum Physician – Interventional Radiology
Overview
This locum opportunity provides in-person interventional radiology coverage in a busy hospital setting. You will perform general IR procedures with emphasis on biopsies and cancer-related interventions while collaborating with a fully staffed radiology team.
Practice Highlights
• Hospital-based practice with 2 interventional radiologists
• Annual ER Volume: 80,000 patients
• Documentation System/EMR: Full Epic and PACS
• Exam Rooms: 2 dedicated radiology rooms
• Adult patient population
• Average procedure volume: 15–25 per day
• Fully staffed support team for smooth workflow
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified – REQUIRED
• Active OH License – REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS Certification – REQUIRED
• DEA Registration – REQUIRED
• Fellowship in Nuclear or Mammography – Preferred
• Clean malpractice/files – REQUIRED
• Local or nearby providers highly preferred
