Interventional Radiology Locums Physician - California, No Call Required
Level I trauma center IR assignment in Southern California; inpatient and outpatient mix with optional call and consistent long-term need.
Highlights
- 1-2 weeks per month; consistent, ongoing block
- No call required, but available for added income

- Fluoroscopy license required
Practice Setting
- Level I trauma center with high procedure volume
- 8-12 cases/day including embolizations, nephrostomies, drainages
- IR techs, nurses, and resident support
- Adults only; rare peds exposure
Schedule
- Weekdays 7:30a-4:30p; one week/month minimum
- Call is optional but may be requested in certain blocks
- Longer blocks available for full-time availability
Cases and Procedures
- Core IR: biopsies, bleeds, drains, dialysis catheters
- Complex procedures: embolizations, PE thrombectomies
- No peripheral vascular, no Y-90
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Active California license and fluoroscopy certification
- Recent case logs required at time of submission
