We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional, IA
Start Date: As soon as credentialed! Schedule: M-F; 8a-4p (8 hours)
Position Overview:
Inpatient Responsibilities in Radiology Department
Nursing Support/Physician Nurse Ratio: 1:1
Ancillary Staff per Provider: multiple
Services/Procedures offered in the practice: X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds. Swallow, BE, Myleogram, LP
Number of Exam Rooms per provider: 3
Medical Imaging: Yes
Lab and Pharmacy: Yes
Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 111
Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 111
Appointment length: 20 mins
EMR: Powerscribe and Cerner
Teaching Opportunity: Yes
Position Overview:
Analyzing medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases.
Interpreting test results.
Communicating findings to other healthcare professionals.
Performing interventional procedures using imaging guidance.
Collaborating with a healthcare team.
Choosing and implementing appropriate imaging techniques.
Reviewing and interpreting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds.
Recommending testing to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements:
Board Certified - REQUIRED
Active IA License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
