Medstaff is assisting with Interventional Radiology coverage for a client in Urbana, Illinois.
Here are some details:

• Requires ABR Board Certification or a recent grad ready to sit for the boards in Interventional Radiology, Illinois License, IL CSR, DEA, at least 1 year of experience and a clean background
• M-F, 730am-5pm, shared weekly call 1:6
• Average daily cases: 11 Procedure Lab cases, 8.0 Para/Thoras, 7-8 CT/US Biopsies
• Adult-46%, Geriatric-54%, Peds-handful a year for lines and tube changes. Medicare-44%, Medicaid-18%.
• Full IR services including but not limited to:

• Image guided biopsies and drainages,
  * Dialysis access maintenance and line placement
  * Hepatobiliary Interventions
  * DVT and PE management and interventions (CDT and Thrombectomy)
• Diagnostic arteriography and arterial interventions including treatment of PAD, hemorrhage (trauma, GI), oncology.
  * Drain placement, including Chest tubes
  * Gastrostomy
  * Nephrostomy

• EMR is EPIC
• Proof of COVID Vaccination is required
• Coverage will start based on time for acceptance and credentialing and is needed for at least 3 months, possibly ongoing as their patient volume is growing
