Description:
Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine- Vascular and Interventional Radiology in Richlands, VA where In/Outpatient coverage and no call is needed. Here are some of the details:
Start Date: June 10, 2024-July 26, 2024
Dates of coverage: We need a good all around General Radiologist with basic I.R. Skills (thoracentesis and paracentesis, minimum, PICC Line preferred). Be able to do 3D mammography - Automated Breast Ultrasound certification.

- July 22 - 26
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Must meet all Submission requirements in order to submit!!!
- Board Certified or Board Eligible –REQUIRED
- Active VA license - REQUIRED
- Active ACLS– REQUIRED
- Automated Breast Ultrasound certification: REQUIRED
Job Details:
- Total number of readers - 130 - 175 exams depending on ED volume; Approximately 25- 35 CT Scans; 7-10 MRI; 12 - 15 mammography, 15 ultrasound.
- EMR: Meditech
Procedures:
- Thoracentesis and paracentesis
- PICC Line
- 3D mammography
- General Nuclear Medicine (VA, HIDA, bone scan)
- Comfortable reading whole body MRI.
