Immediate Opening: Locum Interventional Radiologist

Location: Hospital-Based Practice

Schedule & Duration:

• Initial Period: 1 week per month (April to June)
• Extended Period: 2 to 3 weeks per month (starting July)
• Daily Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Dates Needed:
  • April 1st – April 8th
  • May 27th – June 3rd
  • June 7th – June 14th (plus one additional week in late June)
  • July 12th – July 19th, July 19th – July 26th
  • August 2nd – August 9th, August 9th – August 16th (plus one additional week in late August)

Call Schedule:

• Weeknights: 5 PM - 7:30 AM (Pager call)
• Weekends: 5 PM Friday - 7:30 AM Monday
• Call Ratio: 1:4

Practice Details:

• Setting: Hospital-based with protected clinic time 1 out of 4 days
• Cases Per Day: 15 cases shared between two IR doctors
• EMR: EPIC
• Exam Rooms: 20 pre/post rooms with dedicated nursing staff
• Procedure Area: Features 2 modern IR suites (Philips and Siemens), a dedicated IR CT room, and 3 high-end ultrasound machines

Support Staff:

• 5 nurses and 6 techs for the inpatient side
• Rounding nurse and an IR clinical coordinator
• Outpatient clinic staff includes an MA/RVT, clinic manager, and front desk staff

Patient Demographics:

• Primarily adult and geriatric, occasional pediatric procedures (G-tube changes, PICCs)

Technology & Support:

• Teleradiology: Available for after-hours cases (5 PM onwards and weekends)
• Remote Access: Ability to access EMR, review, and dictate PACS studies from home
