Description:
Locums Interventional Radiology in Redding, CA where Inpatient coverage with call and weekend coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:
Start Date: May 3, 2024- Ongoing
Coverage Need/Schedule Details:
2024 Dates of Coverage: Coverage will be needed indefinitely for all weekends and holidays starting with Friday pm call at 5pm
- May 3-7
- June 7-11
- June 28-July 2
Shift times:
- Friday 8a-5p onsite coverage at hourly rate - would include all scheduled and emergent procedures, rounding, and consultations.
- Friday 5p-8a Night ED call only
- Saturday and Sunday - ED call only
- Monday 8a-5p onsite coverage at hourly rate - would include all scheduled and emergent procedures, rounding, and consultations
- Monday 5p-8a Night ED call only
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Must meet all Submission requirements in order to submit!!!
- Board Certified Interventional Radiology –REQUIRED
- Active CA license - REQUIRED
- Must be available for dates listed in job description - REQUIRED
- Active DEA, ACLS- REQUIRED
- CA X-Ray Supervisor and Operator's Certificate: REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice / Background – REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccine - REQUIRED
- Must let recruiter know if you have ever worked for any other facility within the hospital system-REQUIRED
Job Details:
- Average Callback Hours: Weekdays 1.7, Weekend 3.2
- Setting: Acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Designation and Thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center designation. NIR services for stroke are provided by hospital-contracted NIR group and are not part of the locum IR job.
- Duties: Emergency call coverage for IR services for weekends and holidays, may include Friday PM call (5pm-8am). Also includes supervision of procedures using fluoroscopy (non-OR procedures).

- EMR: Cerner Care B, Radiologists also use PowerScribe 360
- Support Staff: Hospital department Radiology Techs, no APP (PA) support staff for IR services.
