Locums – Hershey, Pennsylvania Pediatric Radiologist Job

• Job duration: 12 months

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Each coverage week includes night procedure call

• Weekend procedure call: 24-hour call, 8:00 AM–8:00 AM

• No guaranteed hours

• Callback is patient-facing hours

• 30-minute unpaid lunch; provider must clock in and out for lunch

• Overtime must be approved by department administration in advance

• Assigned and unassigned patients

Call Coverage

• Call type: In-house

• Call response time: within 30 minutes

Required Fluoroscopy Skills

• Barium swallow, including postoperative esophageal atresia (EA) with tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF)

• Upper GI (UGI)

• Voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG)

• Retrograde urethrogram (RUG)

• Barium/water-soluble enema (BE), including:

  • Newborn obstruction

  • Postoperative ostomy studies

  • Mucous fistula studies

Required Procedures

• Air reduction enema for intussusception

• Advancement of feeding tube from the stomach into the duodenum

• Contrast injection of central lines/ports for malfunction evaluation

Hospital Details

• Trauma Level I

• Pediatric Trauma Level I

• Hospital Stroke Certified

• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine – Pediatric Radiology

• Active Pennsylvania license required

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
