Connecticut Needs Tele Rads!

Premier, stable group of 19 located in Connecticut has started up an internal nighthawk team. They are looking for one more telerad to work 7 days on/ 7 off. Monday - Friday from 3pm – 10pm EST and Saturday – Sunday 4pm – 10pm EST. They have 3 Telerads that work 7 on/14 from 10pm to 7am Monday – Sunday and 2 for the 2nd shift. The group covers 3 hospitals and several imaging centers. Weekday call coverage begins at 4:30pm. Prior to that, this position will help out as needed. All on site Rads work until 4:30-5pm. The case mix during call averages to be 75-80 cases. 70% of the cases are standard ER cases: infections, trauma, post op. 60% are Xray, 40% CT scans and US. Weekends average number of cases is 117 – 50% are plain films and 50% CT, US and a few MRIs.

Salary is 400k and all benefits. Must be proficient in all modalities including stroke, perfusions CTA. Partnership in to accounts receivable is after 2nd year.
