Diagnostic Radiologist
Southwest Florida | Full-Time 1099 | Flexible Schedule
Emergency Solutions is recruiting an experienced Diagnostic Radiologist to provide clinical coverage for a hospital-based Radiology program in Southwest Florida.
This is a long-term opportunity offering strong compensation, flexible scheduling, productivity incentives, travel and lodging, and a substantial sign-on and relocation package.
There are no Medical Director responsibilities and no breast imaging requirements associated with this position.
Flexible Schedule
We are open to developing a schedule that works for the right physician, including:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- Alternative block schedules
- Other mutually agreeable scheduling arrangements
- 8-hour clinical days
- Long-term opportunity
- Full-Time 1099 Independent Contractor
- Schedule structured around the clinical and operational needs of the Radiology department
- Travel and lodging provided/reimbursed
- Travel time and travel days are not compensated clinical days
Clinical Responsibilities
The Diagnostic Radiologist will provide general diagnostic interpretation for the hospital and affiliated outpatient services, including:
- CT
- MRI
- X-ray
- Ultrasound
- Inpatient imaging
- Emergency Department imaging
- Outpatient imaging
- STAT and routine interpretations
- General diagnostic radiology
No breast imaging or mammography coverage required.
Clinical Compensation
- $4,000 per 8-hour clinical day
- First 50 wRVUs per clinical day included in the guaranteed daily rate
- $45 per wRVU above 50 wRVUs per clinical day
- Travel and lodging provided/reimbursed in addition to clinical compensation
Full-Time Physician Incentives
- $50,000 Sign-On Bonus
- $30,000 Relocation Allowance
- $80,000 Total Sign-On & Relocation Package
- 3% annual COLA applied to the clinical daily rate beginning on the first anniversary
- Travel and lodging provided/reimbursed as needed
Malpractice
- $1 million per claim / $3 million aggregate
- Professional liability coverage provided/paid
- Tail coverage provided/paid
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a Diagnostic Radiologist seeking excellent compensation without administrative or breast imaging responsibilities, along with the ability to create a schedule that provides meaningful time away from work.
A 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off schedule is available, although we are open to discussing other block schedules or flexible arrangements with the right physician.
The physician will receive a guaranteed clinical daily rate, additional compensation for productivity above the established wRVU threshold, an $80,000 sign-on and relocation package, travel and lodging, annual COLA, and malpractice with tail coverage.
