Remote Hybrid Body Imaging Radiologist Opportunity in Detroit, MI

Be part of our exciting Radiology team as we elevate an academic, quality-driven service. Focus exclusively on Body Imaging Radiology, teach residents every day, and maintain work-life balance.

About the Opportunity:

  • Deliver high-impact clinical care across a major urban system with interesting pathology.
  • Teach with purpose in a modern, resident-forward environment.
  • Shape your work with custom FTE models (0.6 to 1.0), including hybrid and remote reading where service allows.
  • Have a voice in schedules, workflows, and coverage models.

Teaching and Residency:

  • On-site ACGME residency with 6 residents per year in a right-sized, high-touch program.
  • ED model: You are paired 1:1 with a resident each ED shift. Residents generate preliminary reads; you read independently and finalize with real-time feedback to optimize learning and patient care.
  • Use iCollaborate for streamlined case assignment, image sharing, and live attending–resident interaction.

Schedule and Volume:

  • REMOTE reading
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Provide weekend coverage 1:4- reading alongside residents
  • Schedules posted 90 days in advance for predictable work-life balance.
  • Volume: Median 100-110 cases per day.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board certified or Board Eligible
  • Michigan licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Michigan
