Setting: Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Clinic
Duties: Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET and perform breast biopsies
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff
Reason for Coverage: Resignation of Radiologist
- Board Certified [HIGHLY PREFERRED] or Board Eligible
- State License – CA [REQUIRED]
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Residency [REQUIRED] No specific fellowship. Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies
- Other Certifications – BLS/ACLS and DEA required during credentialing [REQUIRED]
- 100% Clean Malpractice and Background – [REQUIRED]
- Availability at time of name clear – [REQUIRED]`

The average monthly volumes are below. Keep in mind that we have a radiologist on site for mammography 3 days/week.
Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13
Screening Mammos: 225
Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
Working Hours
Shift time: 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM
Duration: 8 hours
Assignment: Weekends only- current weekends that are open. Keep in mind credentialing can take up to 90 days:
• January: 3-4, 10-11, 24-25
• February: 7-8, 21-22
• March: 7-8
• April: 4-5
• May: 2-3, 30-31
• June: 13-14, 27-28
