Sierra Nevada DHMF is looking for a Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography (biopsy) privileges!
Sierra Nevada DHMF is looking for a Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography (biopsy) privileges!
**Must maintain qualifications throughout the entire assignment which includes MQSA Standards for 960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months.**
Job Responsibilities
Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET and perform breast biopsies
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff
Reason for Coverage: Resignation of Radiologis
Types of cases:
The average monthly volumes are below. Keep in mind that we have a radiologist on site for mammography 3 days/week.
Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13
Screening Mammos: 225
Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
Types of Reads:
For the IR physician, It would include
Procedures (basic procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, intro, abdominal drains, suprapubic catheters, nephrostomy tubes, etc)
CT’s
X-rays
Ultrasounds
MRI’s
Qualifications
State License – CA [REQUIRED]
Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Residency [REQUIRED] No specific fellowship. Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies
Other Certifications – BLS/ACLS and DEA required during credentialing [REQUIRED]
Malpractice – Clean [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Availability at time of name clear – [REQUIRED]
Working Hours
Schedule & Shift time: Monday-Friday 8a-4p
