Job description
We are seeking a board-certified Radiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. Ideal for radiologists with fellowship training or significant experience in body imaging.
Assignment Overview:

Start date: As soon as credentialed

Ongoing coverage needed to support recruitment efforts

Hospital-based setting supporting multiple sites
-
Open to remote readers (must be fellowship-trained in body imaging or have equivalent experience)
-
Flexible call participation—negotiable based on candidate preference
-
Credentialing estimated at approximately 3 months
Case Mix Includes:
-
CT (approx. 30–35/day)
-
Ultrasound (approx. 60/day)
-
X-ray (approx. 100/day)
-
Body MRI
-
No pediatric reads required
Practice Environment:
-
Academic and community hospital settings
-
Fully integrated systems: Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACS
-
Trauma Levels I & II
-
Teleradiology infrastructure in place
-
Collaborative group of over 40 radiologists
Travel & Logistics:
-
Standard travel arrangements available for on-site locums
-
Local providers preferred; remote providers welcome but not eligible for travel reimbursement

Parking reimbursement for local on-site candidates
Requirements:

Board Certified in Radiology
-
Fellowship trained in Body Imaging (required)

Active Iowa medical license
-
BLS certification required
