Job Responsibilities
- Perform various breast imaging techniques, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI.
- Conduct breast procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with a nurse navigator to provide patient-centric care.
- Utilize and navigate EMR systems such as EPIC and PowerScribe effectively.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with board certification in Radiology.
- Fellowship in Breast Imaging is highly preferred.
- Active state license in Missouri or eligibility for IMLC.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Required DEA registration and CSR for Missouri.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No on-call duties
Skills
- Proficiency in breast imaging and related procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in using EMR systems like EPIC, PAC, and others.
- Experience with stereotactic breast cases is required.
Ensure all case logs and continuing medical education (CME) documentation are up-to-date for credentialing purposes. This assignment offers the option to explore flexible scheduling and possible extension beyond the initial term.
