We are seeking two dedicated Mammography Radiologists for a Locum to Permanent opportunity in Springfield, MA. Joining a team of experienced radiologists, you will provide high-quality diagnostic services in both hospital and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for providers looking for a long-term fit within a system that values dignity, excellence, and community health.
-Schedule: Days; Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-Location: Springfield, MA.
-Team: Currently 8 radiologists (transitioning to 6); supported by a full complement of staff.
-Charting: Epic / PowerScribe / PACS.
Job Responsibilities
-Execute required procedures including stereotactic biopsies, breast ultrasound biopsies, and breast localization procedures.
-Manage a variable daily case volume and support an ER that sees approximately 120 patients per day.
-Provide patient-centered care across all demographics (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric).
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Massachusetts license or pending MA application with proof of submission [REQUIRED].
-Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: Most recent Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the month) required at time of presentation.
Working Hours
-Weekend/Call: No weekend or on-call requirements.
Skills
-Strong diagnostic skills in a high-volume hospital and outpatient environment.
-Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary radiology team.
