Mammography Radiologist – Locum Tenens | Michigan | $400–$445/hr

Job Description:
We are seeking a Mammography Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity at two sites in Michigan. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time scheduling, with weekday day shifts and no call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across two locations during the week, though alternative coverage scenarios may be considered.

Schedule:

• Start: April 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)

• Day shifts | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Monday–Friday schedule

• No call required

• Potential to split time between two locations during the week

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient clinic / hospital-based imaging

• Teaching hospital environments

• Sites located in central and northern Michigan

Key Responsibilities:

• Breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography

• Ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsies

• Pre-surgical lesion localizations

• Additional imaging procedures may include:

  • CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies

  • Thyroid, lymph node, and soft tissue biopsies

  • CT lung and solid organ biopsies

  • Abscess catheter placements

  • Occasional arthrogram injections, HSGs, and joint injections

Additional Procedures (site dependent):

• IR procedures such as drain placements, lumbar punctures, paras/thoras

• Fluoroscopic procedures including GI FL and arthrograms

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (ABR or AOBR)

• Michigan license or willing to obtain

• Experience with breast imaging procedures required

• MQSA certification preferred

• Clean malpractice history with strong references

Assignment Details:

• Locum Tenens (1099)

• Pay Rate: $400–$445/hour

• 13-week assignment

• Travel and lodging available for qualified candidates
