Fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist needed for onsite locum coverage at a community hospital in Central South Carolina. Assignment runs late June through September 2026 with potential extension. Weekday schedule only, no call. Must hold active SC license and current MQSA certification with 24 months of case logs. Travel expenses covered. Dedicated breast imaging role — ideal for physicians actively practicing breast imaging.
Job Responsibilities
Provide MQSA-compliant mammography and breast imaging reads
Maintain accurate case logs and required MQSA documentation
Support breast imaging coverage at affiliated sites as scheduled
Collaborate with radiology staff and administrative teams to ensure quality patient care
Adhere to all clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging
Active South Carolina medical license (required)
Current MQSA certification with documented case logs (24 months)
Actively practicing breast imaging
Ability to provide onsite coverage (no remote work)
Strong clinical documentation and compliance skills
Working Hours
Standard daytime hospital hours (exact shift times flexible/TBD)
