Locums – Hartford, Connecticut, Hybrid Mammography Radiologist Opening

Location: Hartford, Connecticut Assignment Type: Hybrid (Hospital + Remote)

• Start Date: March 21, 2026

• Duration: 3–6 months (may extend as needs require)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Call / Weekends: None

• Medical License: Valid or eligible in Connecticut REQUIRED

• DEA Registration / Controlled Substance Certification: Required or eligible to obtain REQUIRED

• Board Certification / Eligibility: Diagnostic Radiology – ABR or AOBR REQUIRED

• Fellowship: Breast Imaging HIGHLY PREFERRED

• BLS Certification: Required (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)

• Experience in high-volume clinical environments within integrated health systems

• Proficiency with PACS, PowerScribe, and current radiology IT platforms

• Skilled in US and stereotactic-guided biopsies, aspirations, localizations, etc.

• Maintained credentialing per medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements

• Ability to collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams

• Prior experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models

• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based with some remote work

• Number of Providers Needed: 2

• Trauma Level: Level I

• Support Staff: Full complement

• Patient Age Demographic: Neonates to geriatrics (rare pediatrics)
