Job description
Medical Center is seeking experienced Locum Mammography Radiologists to support departmental coverage during a transition from a group model to employed staffing. This daytime-only role offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities, within a high-volume, well-supported breast imaging program.
Job Responsibilities
Perform breast imaging–related procedures including biopsies and localizations
Utilize PACS, PowerScribe, and EPIC EMR systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-volume imaging environment
Maintain compliance with medical staff bylaws and regulatory standards
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered breast imaging services
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging (highly preferred)
Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification
BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
Experience in high-volume, integrated health system environments
Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days at time of presentation)
Working Hours
No call and no weekend coverage
Assignment length: 3–6 months starting March 21, 2026 (extension possible)
