Locum Mammography Radiologists Needed in Massachusetts!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking Locum Mammography Radiologists to provide breast imaging services across hospital and outpatient settings, starting as soon as credentialed. This role involves interpreting a variable daily case volume and performing specialized breast procedures within a collaborative radiology department. The position supports a diverse patient population and a well-staffed imaging environment.

Dates / Schedule

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days (with completed applications)

• Practice Locations: Hospital and outpatient facilities

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Provide mammography and breast imaging interpretation

• Perform breast-related interventional procedures, including:

  • Stereotactic biopsies

  • Breast ultrasound-guided biopsies

  • Mammography- and ultrasound-guided biopsies

  • Breast localization procedures

• Manage a variable number of cases per day

• Support an emergency department with approximately 120 patients per day

• Work within a radiology group transitioning from 8 to 6 physicians after February

• Utilize Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS for documentation and imaging review

• Serve adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations

• Collaborate with a full complement of support staff

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist (required)

• Active Massachusetts medical license or pending MA license with submission date and estimated approval at time of name clear

• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)

• Demonstrated proficiency in mammography and breast interventional procedures

• Self-query NPDB (pulled within the past month at time of presentation)
