Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday | Immediate Start
A well-established breast imaging practice in Northern California is seeking a locum radiologist to provide breast imaging and procedural coverage. This is a full-time, weekday, on-site opportunity, ideal for a provider with experience and confidence in mammography and breast procedures.
🗓 Position Details:

🕗 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

📆 Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing in 60–90 days)

🏢 Setting: Imaging center-based, outpatient breast imaging
-
📈 Average Daily Volume: ~57 studies/day, including:
-
Screening Mammograms: 41
-
Diagnostic Mammograms: 7
-
Breast Ultrasounds: 5
-
Breast MRI: 2
-
Biopsies (Stereotactic, US, MRI): Low volume

Job Responsibilities
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms
Perform and interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI
Conduct image-guided breast biopsies (US, MRI, stereotactic)
Work closely with technologists and support staff
Qualifications
🩺 Active California medical license – Required
🎓 Breast Imaging Fellowship – Highly preferred
💉 BLS Certification – Preferred
Must be comfortable handling all aspects of breast imaging independently
