Position Overview:
This 182-bed Level II Trauma Center and the state’s only tertiary referral hospital for Alaska Native and American Indian communities, is seeking a Locum Tenens Radiologist with experience in Mammography or a hybrid of General Radiology and Mammography.

Highlights:
Modality mix: 50% cross-sectional, 50% plain film
Caseload: ~60 studies/day
Mammo capabilities preferred: Screening, Diagnostic, MRI (flexible based on candidate comfort)
Fluoro/minor procedures: Preferred but not required
No nuclear medicine or PET required
Ultrasound & MRI studies: Full spectrum performed on-site (ABD, OB, Vascular, Joints, Neuro, etc.)
Voice Recognition: Yes
No additional fellowship required – recent, relevant experience preferred
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
ACGME/AOA-accredited Radiology Residency
Active (or ability to obtain) Alaska medical license
Cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills

Schedule Details:
M-F *No Call, daytime hours only
Start- As soon as credentialed
End- Ongoing need - Flexible Length of Initial Contract
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts. General comprehensive diagnostic radiology.
