Seeking a full-time Pulmonologist. This pulmonologist position is primarily ambulatory clinic based with in-patient critical care consults as needed. Four-day work week plus one administrative day. 12 14 patients per day. Hospital employed position.
Performing scheduled Bronchoscopies is required. The pulmonary clinic is well supported by Registered Respiratory Therapists providing a wide range of diagnostic tests such as PFT, NIOX, methacholine challenge and 6MWT as well as pulmonary rehab and Asthma education.

Located in Newport, Vermont, serves a catchment area of 28,000, spread across three counties in northern Vermont on the Canadian border. We are a fiscally sound, up-to-date facility with 25 active beds. The hospital carries the federal designation of a Critical Access Hospital.
The hospital medical staff has limited sub-specialists but has an excellent group of necessary practitioners including general and orthopedic surgery, ob/gyn, pediatrics, cardiology, urology, neurology, pulmonary medicine, sleep center, radiology, pain clinic. The hospital is also served by visiting ENT and nephrology. Additionally, there is an outpatient dialysis center.
