**Pulmonary/Critical Care opportunity in Hilton Head, South Carolina**
~ Coastal South Carolina
~ Located 30 miles from Savannah, GA
**About the Position:**
~ Full-time, permanent position
~ 50% Inpatient and 50% Outpatient
**About the Facility:**
~ Cover 2 hospitals in Hilton Head. One with 10 ICU beds, the other with 4 ICU beds
~ Sleep Lab: 2 bed in office lab - don't need sleep board eligible Pulmonary for this site
~ Practice consists of 2 Pulmonary physicians: one of which is boarded in Pulm and CCM. The second is Pulmonology only and is working in a reduced status as emeritus status (semi-retired from group)
~ Shared call
~ Procedures required: Central Lines, Arterial Lines, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Vent Management, Chest Tube Insertions, Tracheostomy, Bronchoscopy
~ Patients per day: 5-10 inpatients depending on time of year
~ Largest Pulmonary group in region with 14 physicians and extensive network of regional coverage, solid practice with excellent fundamentals
~ Rapidly growing and very desirable area with excellent quality of life and family-oriented
~ Reason for Need: expansion of services in South Carolina Low Country and senior physician will be retiring soon
**Ideal Candidate:**
~ Ideal provider will have US residency and fellowship training
~ Looking for a provider who is a team player, affable, and academically superior
~ IM residency and a 2-3 year Pulmonology/Critical Care Fellowship are required
**Compensation and Benefits Information:**
~ Base Salary: $325,000
~ Sign-on Bonus: $20,000
~ Up to $10,000 in relocation expenses
