  • Shift: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a) – inpatient units with trauma levels I-III

  • License/Certifications: Colorado medical license, board-certified/eligible in Pulmonary Critical Care (preferred)
  • Experience: Recent level I trauma experience required; ICU experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: Based on tier – Tier 1: $400/hr / callback, Night Call: $1,000 and below; Tier 2: $401-$450/hr / callback, Night Call: $1,001-$1,200

What You’ll Do
  • Provide inpatient pulmonary and critical care across multiple hospital levels (I-III trauma)
  • Manage ventilation, including invasive and non-invasive methods
  • Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, central line, and arterial line placement
  • Handle critically ill patients with conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and more
  • Collaborate with onsite pulmonology colleagues and support staff
  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
  • Ensure timely patient assessments, rounding, and offsite pager call coverage
What You Need
  • Required: Colorado medical license, recent ICU and trauma experience, proficiency with pulmonary procedures
  • Preferred: Board certification/eligibility in Pulmonary Critical Care, familiarity with EPIC EMR, prior trauma experience
  • Key Skills: Critical thinking, excellent communication, adaptability, team collaboration
