Opportunity Overview:
A hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is seeking a Pulmonology Physician for locum tenens coverage. This is a hospital-based opportunity involving pulmonary consultations and call coverage, with a combination of scheduled daytime hours and overnight/weekend call.
The department includes 15 ICU beds and 33 pulmonary beds, with approximately 10 patients per day.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekday Call: 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Providers are on call on the days they work
- Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

- Friday–Sunday coverageTypical rotation:
- Expected coverage: approximately 2 weeks of Monday–
- Sunday and 2 weeks of Friday–Sunday per month
- No block schedule

Requirements:
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pulmonology
- Active Missouri medical license required
- IMLC candidates may be considered, with preference for providers who already hold an active MO license
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- DEA required
- New graduates will be considered
- Clean files may be eligible for temporary privileges
