  • Duration: 12 weeks
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270 - $7,420
  • Schedule: In-house coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with on-call coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 15 days
  • Setting: Pulmonary critical care service with ICU-level responsibilities

Job Requirements

  • Board certified physician required
  • Fellowship training in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience required
  • Current certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Ability to manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide pulmonary and critical care coverage for hospitalized patients
  • Manage day-time in-house rounding and overnight on-call coverage
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex respiratory and critical care conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe, high-quality patient care
  • Respond to urgent clinical needs and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain timely documentation and communication throughout the locum tenens assignment
