Licensing: Active New Mexico license required; Board Certified in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days; temporary privileges available
Required Skills: Critical care management, ICU admissions, inpatient rounding, ventilator management, and consultative critical care services
Required Certifications: BLS
Other Key Details: Call coverage is for unassigned patients with a 30-minute response time. Average of 3-5 phone consults per shift, 10-15 patients seen, and a callback rate of approximately 30%. Multiple providers may be utilized to support ongoing coverage needs.
