Assignment Details Start Date: September 17, 2026 End Date: September 21, 2026 Coverage Type: Call Only Setting: Inpatient ICU Call Type: Beeper Response Time: 30 minutes Patient Volume: 25-30 patients per day ICU Size: 32 beds EMR: Cerner Credentialing: Approximately 14 days (Temporary Privileges Available) ### Clinical Details ICU coverage for adult critical care patients Manage medical and surgical critical care cases Ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive) Chest tube placement Evaluate ICU consults and respond to pulmonary/critical care calls Approximately 6-10 phone consults per shift Preferred procedural experience includes bronchoscopy, central and arterial lines, thoracentesis, dialysis catheters, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, temporary pacemakers, and PA catheter placement ### Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine Active Alabama license or IMLC BLS Fellowship trained
