Locums | Pulmonary / Critical Care | In-House Call | Longview, TX (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Stroke Certified hospital
  • Defined one-week coverage blocks
  • Potential for recurring monthly coverage
Assignment Details Dates Needed: - May 1, 7am – May 4, 7am - May 22, 7am – May 29, 7am Future dates likely (approx. one week per month) Coverage Type: In-House + Night Call Day Shift: 7am–7pm (in-house) Night Shift: 7pm–7am call Call Response Time: 30 minutes Setting: Inpatient EMR: Athena / Medhost Clinical Details 26-bed ICU 15 patients per shift Approx. 3 admissions per shift Mix of assigned and unassigned patients Inpatient pulmonary and critical care management 4 APPs on staff No supervision of APPs required No resident supervision required Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible (Internal Medicine – Pulmonary / Critical Care) Active TX license or IMLC Fellowship trained (Pulmonary/Critical Care) ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS required Must be comfortable managing ICU-level acuity Clean malpractice preferred Compensation Facility accepting bids Malpractice provided Travel & lodging reimbursed
