Job Function:
Hospital is seeking a Pulmonologist with flexibility around final role structure.
Ideal model is pulmonary-only; however, leadership understands this may be challenging without a critical care component.
Role will include a mix of inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care, with the exact split determined based on candidate interests and fit.
ICU coverage is currently outsourced to an established critical care group.
Long-term plans may include integrating the pulmonologist into the ICU or critical care call pool, though this is not required at hire.
Organization is open to shaping the role around the right physician rather than maintaining a rigid structure.
This is a new service line for the group, offering the opportunity to help define pulmonary coverage moving forward.
Experience or interest in EBUS and/or advanced pulmonary procedures is welcomed but not required.
Job Requirements:
- Board-eligible or board-certified Pulmonologist.
- Pulmonary training required.
- Critical care training not required.
- Open to a range of backgrounds (pulmonary-only or pulmonary/critical care).
- Interest in helping build or shape a program preferred.
