Join Our Team as a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician in Davenport, IA!
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join a dedicated group of professionals situated along the picturesque banks of the Mississippi River. This position is available due to retirement and offers a supportive environment within a facility that boasts a total of 500 beds and a specialized team of 4 critical care physicians.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care, managing ICU and shared call responsibilities.
- Conduct procedures including ETT/NT/Tracheostomy management, BiPAP/CPAP usage, and more.
- Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- Engage in modalities such as Chest tube insertion, Bronchoscopy, and Thoracentesis.
- Manage and treat conditions like Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, and Pulmonary Fibrosis.
- Work collaboratively with a team ensuring quality patient care and excellent service delivery.
- Utilize the Cerner EMR system for efficient documentation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine (plans to test required).
- Completed fellowship in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine (new graduates welcomed).
- Experience with procedures and conditions as outlined in the job responsibilities.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS certification.
- State experience with required conditions and procedures.
