We are seeking a Locum Tenens Pulmonologist in Ohio.

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Adult inpatient (non-ICU) and ambulatory setting
• Setting: Clinic & inpatient pulmonary coverage
• Responsibilities:
  • Office hours: Mon-Thurs 8 AM - 4 PM, Fri 8 AM - 12 PM
  • Inpatient rounds on weekends with call
  • Provider must be willing to see new patients in the outpatient clinic
  • Supervision of 5 APCs in the practice
  • Admissions will be conducted by hospitalists
• Required Procedures:
  • Pulmonary Function Testing, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing
  • Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Bronchoscopic Intubations, Bronchoscopy
  • Treatment of COPD, Lung Masses, Pulmonary Nodules, Asthma, ILD, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease
  • Provider must be able to see sleep and pulmonary patients and assist with EBUS, Bronch, and/or Super D procedures
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: 5 APCs
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• On-Call Requirements: Yes; second call every other day during the week, first call every other weekend

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:

• 30 days with an Ohio license and clean background

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Pulmonology (REQUIRED)
• Board Certified in Sleep Medicine (PREFERRED)
• Ohio Medical License (PREFERRED; willing to review candidates needing to obtain OH license)
• Pulmonary Fellowship (REQUIRED)
• ACLS & BLS (REQUIRED)
• Supervision Experience (REQUIRED)
