Advanced Critical Care - Cardiovascular ICU Intensivist

Dignity Health Cardiovascular Services at [Register to View] style="font-weight: 400;">St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, is recruiting an Intensivist for the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). This critical care position provides advanced medical care for the hospitalized patients in the CVICU. Successful candidates will be expected to provide exceptional patient care in a multidisciplinary setting in the CVICU, demonstrate teamwork with midlevel providers and increase academic productivity. This ICU will have a mix of cardiovascular surgery and cardiac patients.

Experience in managing patients with advanced circulatory support devices (VA/VV ECMO, LVADs, Impellas, Protek Duos, balloon pumps etc.) is essential. Experience in ECMO cannulation and management is required.

Requirements:

• MD or DO Degree and Board Certification
• Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
• Completed ACGME Fellowship training with current (or eligible) ABMS Board Certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine or Critical Care Medicine
• Ability to be Credentialed for ECMO Cannulation and Management - past procedure logs required
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
• Must have an active and unrestricted Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting (8-12 week licensure process)
