Pulmonologist opening in North Carolina. Full-Time & Permanent Located in Hickory, NC (Charlotte 58m) Outpatient Group in Hickory, NC, is actively seeking a full-time outpatient only pulmonologist. Medical Center is a 258-bed, independent, not for profit hospital; one of only 7 left in NC Hospital employed position No call M-Th, 8a-5pm; Fri 8a-12p Mid-size community of 45,000, but service area of 350,000 Competitive base salary plus productivity-based incentive bonus Comprehensive employee benefits, malpractice and generous vacation/ reimbursed CME Relocation and sign on offered All necessary ancillary and imaging equipment is available in the office. In addition, our practice has a physician co-led administrative team, which allows the provider to focus on their practice while making sure they still can have an active involvement in the decision making and future strategic initiatives of the practice. Our practice maintains strong relationships with the academic Otolaryngology departments in the major universities throughout the state. There are opportunities for academic engagement with resident and medical student education. Location: The region has a diverse economy and is home to a large furniture manufacturing industry, telecommunications, and transportation logistics companies and a university community (Appalachian State University-satellite and Lenoir Rhyne University). The Unifour region MSA referral basin has a population of approximately 375,000 people. The mountains of the high country are also an hour away and offer a wealth of outdoor activities.
