The Department of Pulmonology, Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, is seeking to add a Full-Time Pulmonologist to its team!

The incoming physician will join a high-volume practice staffed by experienced pulmonologists and a robust support staff including Nurse Practitioners. Einstein Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine provides comprehensive care and the most advanced treatments for your patients with conditions affecting the lungs and airways, backed by the latest research and clinical trials. Our physicians are experts in asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, interventional pulmonology, critical and intensive pulmonary care, sleep medicine, pulmonary hypertension management, pulmonary rehabilitation, interstitial lung disease treatments and more.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the care of chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, lung cancers and many other disorders
  • Coach patients on management of their illness, by making lifestyle change
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Chronic lung disease treatment (COPD, asthma)
  • Narcolepsy treatment
  • Pneumonia vaccines and influenza vaccinations
  • Pulmonary function tests
  • Respiratory illnesses
  • Sleep apnea evaluation and treatment
  • Thoracentesis
  • Ventilator management
  • Participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education if interested.

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Completion of Internal medicine residency, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology
  • Physician is expected to obtain and maintain all required licensure and certifications
