**Pulmonary/Critical Care opening in Dodgeville, IA** 95m from Cedar Rapids **Position Benefits** - 2-year salary guarantee while you build your practice - Sign on bonus - Medical and Prescription Drug benefits plus Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short Term Disability, and 401k & 457b retirement savings benefits. - Malpractice insurance covered with 100% Tail Coverage after 3 years of service - $5000 CME fund each year with 5 paid days for CME each year - Current Residents are eligible to receive a Residency stipend after you sign, until your start date, while you finish your Residency **Position Details** - Full-time opportunity to join experienced team (1MD and 1APP) - Efficient, well-supported pulmonary clinic located on hospital campus - Experienced, dedicated, and supportive staff - Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 - Shared call coverage with work/life balance - 204 bed hospital with established Hospitalist Team - Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists - Outpatient clinic equipped with 6 consultation rooms & 1 procedure room - 12 bed ICU with Intensivist - Cardio and Pulmonary Rehab onsite - Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination **Facility Details** - Rewarding mix between outpatient and inpatient - Critical care, hospital consults, pulmonary procedures, and outpatient medicine - Average outpatient volume: 16-20 patients per day - Average 5 patient consults daily (clinic hours only) - 3-4 patients daily census in ICU - Full range of office care and diagnostic services for patients with lung disorders such as chronic obstructive lung disease, asthma, sleep apnea, interstitial lung disease, lung nodule, and lung cancer - Ultrasound, Lab, PFT, and Respiratory Therapist on site - Spacious fully equipped surgical room - Exposure to procedures: endobronchial US guided bronchoscopy, CT guided bronchoscopy, pleurx placement, thoracentesis, arterial lines, central lines, dialysis catheters, Chest tube management/placement - Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve **Qualifications** - MD or DO - BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine - Hold a current and unrestricted license or certification - Eligible to work in the United States - Ability to work as a team member - Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
