OPEN POSITION:
Physician - Pulmonologist


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Evenings, Weekends, or On-Call


COMPENSATION:
- $350,000 to $400,000+ Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This innovative private practice combines the highest quality of pulmonary care with modern technology. Their Columbus location offers services such as pulmonary rehabilitation, medication monitoring, patient education, smoking cessation, and more. They use a proprietary app that functions via bluetooth on patients’ phones, sending real-time data to the office.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is an outpatient pulmonology role that includes, but is not limited to:

- patient consultations
- evaluation and management
- pulmonary function testing
- pulmonary rehabilitation
- smoking cessation
- vaccination counseling
- telehealth visits

Physicians see an average of 17 to 18 patients per day, with the support of dedicated clinical assistants.

The practice uses the Athena EHR and has a dedicated technical team and a proprietary app to provide clinicians with real-time data on patients’ health conditions.

The app uses bluetooth technology for virtual monitoring of pulmonary functioning, automatically transmitting from patient smartphones into the EHR. This allows for more effective patient monitoring, which reduces hospital and ER visits by providing better health outcomes.

There are no evening, weekend, or on-call responsibilities, providing excellent work/life balance.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Georgia medical license
- DEA
- Board Eligible or Certified, Pulmonology
