NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, located on 135th Street in Manhattan, is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Medical Center.

Responsibilities:

We are currently searching for a dynamic Critical Care/Pulmonary Physician to join our outstanding team. This position will include inpatient work in Critical Care as well as supervision and teaching of residents and medical students. Administrative and clinical research opportunities exist, in accordance with the person’s interest.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Critical Care and Pulmonary
  • Graduate from an accredited medical school
  • Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to speak Spanish highly desired
  • Eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center
  • Visa candidates are considered
  • CME Days and dollars

Salary - $127,917.00 - Board Eligible - $136,257 - Board Certified
