Practice Overview:

– Employed by 99 bed community hospital providing care to 12 counties – Not for profit, locally owned facility
– Average retention across all specialties of 9.9 years
– Recruiting due to retirement
– Sole Pulmonologist in an environment that will offer a comfortable work-life balance
– Bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, transthoracic needle aspirations, central lines, and vent management required
– Allergy or Sleep optional
– Hospital has eICU, certified Sleep Lab, and most surgical procedures except for cardiothoracic or neurosurgery
– Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) and metabolic testing are available
– Practice is clinic about 70% clinic and 30% inpatient
– Call is 1:3 with additional call optional

Compensation Overview:

– 410K salary plus WRVU incentive
– Up to 100K in student loan assistance
– Residency stipends
– Sign on and relocation up to $50,000
– 5 Days CME with $4,000 allowance
– Comprehensive benefits
– Retirement: 3 percent employer contribution plus additional 50 percent match up to 8 percent
