Established healthcare system is seeking a pulmonary and critical care physician to join a well-established, private practice in the Ocala community.

The incoming physician will join a practice with 14 providers – 6 physicians and 8 advanced practicing providers. The advanced practicing providers focus in the office, assist in the hospital and with evening coverage.

The practice has 2 offices – a main location in Ocala and satellite in The Villages.

Qualified Candidates:
• Pulmonary and critical care medicine
• 1-week shifts rotated in the clinic, managing consults and ICU coverage
• ICU coverage – 1 week at Advent Health / 1 week at Ocala Health
• Practice Call will be 1:2
• ABMS Board Certification / Board Eligibility

Affiliated regional medical center is a 2-facility health system with 430 beds. Facilities have been consistently growing over the course of the last 5 years, having invested $210 M in capital improvements through 2018. Facility has another $60 M in construction underway to include expansion of ER, OR, and IP Bed Capacity at both facilities. Hospital is a high functioning Comprehensive Stroke and Level II Trauma Center. The facility also leads a growing GME program in partnership with UCF.
