Pulmonary/CC Intensivist - Greater Cleveland, Ohio

About the Program

  • 18 beds, including cardio ICU
  • 1 NP support in the cardio ICU during the day (NP is employed by the cardio surgeon)
  • Closed ICU
  • IM Residents at the ICU during the day ( almost every day) and they are not at night
  • 1 doc daily: ICU and consults on the floor – average 15 billable encounters a day. 20's in winter.
  • 1 doc at night: average 2-4 admissions at night.
  • Candidate is expected to rotate through the nights. The frequency is determined as it will depend on the new team-members
  • Presented a new budget to the administration, starting July 2023

  • Board certified, or board eligible, MDs or DOs with advanced training in Critical Care, Pulmonary/CC, or Anesthesiology/CC.
  • Current, unrestricted Ohio State license to practice.
  • Current, unrestricted federal, and as needed, state, prescriptive authority.
