Locums Pulmonary Critical Care Physician in Longview, Texas - Block Coverage, APP Support
Cover defined inpatient blocks with daytime critical care responsibilities, overnight call, and the potential to return for additional monthly coverage.
Highlights
- Approximately 15 patients per shift
- Only about 3 admissions per shift
- Advanced practice provider coverage available
- Future monthly blocks may be added
Practice & Cases
- Inpatient pulmonary and critical care medicine
- 26-bed department
- Level III trauma setting
- Up to one advanced practice provider supporting the service
Schedule
- Weeklong coverage blocks
- 12 hour onsite daytime shifts
- Overnight call follows daytime coverage
- 30 minute response requirement while on call
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Active Texas medical license required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS required
