Job description
private practice serving the Greater New Haven area and Connecticut shoreline. Sleep Medicine training or experience is preferred but not required.
The incoming physician will provide a combination of outpatient pulmonary care, hospital rounding and limited ICU coverage. The practice offers an established patient base, strong referral volume, multiple clinical locations and access to three established sleep laboratories.
Starting compensation is approximately $350,000–$375,000, with the opportunity to transition to productivity-based compensation and pursue future partnership and equity.

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients with pulmonary disease and complex respiratory conditions
• Participate in hospital rounding and limited ICU coverage
• Manage approximately 20–30 patients per clinic day
• Share hospital, weekend and after-hours call responsibilities
• Perform bronchoscopy, thoracentesis and other pulmonary procedures
• Provide sleep medicine services based on training and interest
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, medical assistants and administrative staff
• Practice across established locations throughout Greater New Haven and the Connecticut shoreline
Qualifications
• Sleep Medicine training, certification or experience preferred
• Eligible for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
• Experience with outpatient pulmonary care and hospital rounding preferred
• Bronchoscopy and thoracentesis experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume private practice environment
• Strong clinical, communication and team-based care skills
• Interest in establishing a long-term career in Southern Connecticut
Working Hours
• Primarily Monday through Friday outpatient schedule
• Hospital rounding and limited ICU responsibilities
• Shared call rotation anticipated to be approximately 1 in 5
• Some weekend hospital coverage required
• After-hours calls are generally limited
• Schedule distributed among multiple Greater New Haven and shoreline locations
