We are seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician for a locum tenens position in Monongahela, PA. This is a short-term vacation coverage opportunity in a hospital setting. Please see below for more information.
200-bed hospital
Meditech EMR
Adult patient population
Inpatient / ICU practice setting
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 15-18 inpatients per day, including 4-5 ICU patients
Attend daily multidisciplinary rounds from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM with nursing, respiratory, nutrition, and pharmacy
Perform procedures including arterial lines, CVP lines, bronchoscopy, ventilator management, and bedside toilet bronchoscopy (no EBUS)
Provide night call coverage as scheduled
Collaborate with NPs, hospitalists, RNs, respiratory therapy, and nutrition staff
Work alongside hospitalists and PCPs who share admissions
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license
DEA
ACLS
BLS
Working Hours
Night call coverage required
Standard 5-day schedule with on-call requirement
